Are steroids legal in UFC?

UFC:


The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC)
 is an American mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion company based in Las Vegas, Nevada, which is owned and operated by Endeavor Group Holdings along with Silver Lake Partners.
It is the largest MMA promotion company in the world and features some of the highest-level fighters in the sport on its roster.

The UFC produces events worldwide that showcase twelve weight divisions (eight men's divisions and four women's divisions) the UFC has held over 500 events

Dana White has been UFC president since 2001. Under White's stewardship, the UFC has grown into a globally popular multi-billion-dollar enterprise.

It has different fighting disciplines like boxing, kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Sambo, wrestling, Muay Thai, Karate,  Taekwondo, and Judo.
In subsequent events, fighters began to adopting effective techniques from more than one discipline, which helped creating separate style of fighting known as mixed martial arts.


Rules:

The current rules for the Ultimate Fighting Championship were originally established by New Jersey Athletic Control Board.

The set of Unified Rules of Mixed Martial Arts. And these rules are also used by others states states that regulates mixed martial arts. 

Cage:

The UFC stages bouts in an eight-sided enclosure officially named "The Octagon"
The UFC cage is an octagonal structure with walls of metal chain-link fence coated with black vinyl.

The standard octagon has a diameter of 30 ft (9.1m) with a 6ft (1.8m) high fence.
The cage sits atop a platform, raising it 4ft (1.2m) from the ground.

Steroids and Drugs are illegal in the UFC. 
Steroids usage can cause problems like testicles shrunk, stops production of testosterone, and some other organ damage like liver damage etc.

 Steroids helps increasing the power, it also helps increase the no. of training period. 
 But use of steroids in UFC is considered cheating.

And the authority can take serious action against this kind of cheating.



Match outcome:

Matches may end via: 
  • Submission : a fighter clearly taps the mat or his opponent, verbally submits .
  • Knockout : a fighter is put into state sstate of unconsciousness resulting from any legal strike.

  • Technical Knockout : If the referee decides a fighter cannot continue .
  • Judge's Decision : depending on scoring, a match may end .
