How to Adjust Ground Clearance ?

Here there is two methods for increasing to the ground clearance.

1- Assister for coil springs

2- Taller tyres and rims upsize

So we will first discuss about the first method that is Assister for coil springs.

Basically these Assisters are made up of  polyurethane compound.  These Assisters gets fit in the Coil springs suspensions and prevents it's movement. The coil do not move entirely and because of which the car stays slight upward. 

These Assisters help to increase the ground clearance by 10-15 mm .

And these Assisters you can purchase for 5000₹ ($66.11) .

But if the Audi service center found that you are using this kind of Assisters they may avodi giving you the warranty for suspension given by the manufacturer.

Now moving on to the next procedure our second method 

Taller tyre and rims upsize

It is somewhat costly procedure because in this method you have to change the tyres and in some cases Rims are to changed.

You can do all this upgradation on your own or can visit the garage to seek professionals help.

But this also has some disadvantages for suspension. For example if the suspensions expiry is at 1lakh km it will reduce to 80,000km. But this is not big issue. And before upgrading must ask service center if they avoiding warranty for the same.

Speedometer readings may vary due to change in tyres.

And this method is widely used for increasing ground clearance.
